American psychological drama.
Adam Zeller (John Malkovich), a famed mathematician in his 60s, arrives from 
Sicily to a conference on mathematics being held at Syracuse University, New York. His purpose is to deliver a paper on the Syracuse problem.
Accompanied by Lisa a young admiring mathematician, Adam arrives at Hotel Syracuse, and after checking in, he begins to discover that all the people at the hotel are people from his past. Lisa witnesses this occurrence. We begin to realize that it’s not a fantasy or hallucinations, but reality. The hotel becomes a metaphor for life’s mysterious journey. Eventually Adam discovers he is no longer the person he previously was.
